How to create a money magnet e-commerce website

If you’ve been online for more than a day, you’ve most likely heard from some “guru” somewhere that you should create a money magnet website – a website that is extremely automated and helps you make money 24 hours a day. That may * sound * great, but what they usually forget to tell you is HOW to do it.
Well, I’m going to explain it to you now, in this short article!.

First, what IS a money magnet website? A money magnet website can be defined as one that is equipped with an integrated suite of e-commerce and internet marketing tools in a style that allows you to make the most profit with the least effort.

Most e-commerce systems are equipped with the following basics: a shopping cart, credit card approval and processing, a maintenance system that allows you to add/change products, and an ordering system that allows you to fulfill orders.

What most of them don’t have, however, are marketing tools. There are several marketing strategies that are critical to developing a successful e-commerce website: Email marketing (broadcasting) from prospects/customers, efficient use of autoresponders (generate automatic email messages), online newsletters, online form/survey to capture your opportunity email address, electronic item shipping (if you are selling a digital item), ad tracking, backend sales, affiliate program.

Now if you had a system that supported the integration of ALL of these marketing tools in addition to the necessary e-commerce basics, you would have a cash magnet website. After all, it turns out that it usually takes 7 or more ad impressions before potential customers actually buy. Consider the following scenario:

A prospect clicks on an ad in an online magazine. This action raises a counter for that specific ad so you can find out how well it’s performing. He doesn’t decide to buy yet, but signs up for your newsletter. They are now considered a potential customer. You start sending them a monthly email newsletter on a regular basis. In addition, an autoresponder kicks in to thank them for signing up for the newsletter and ensures that the prospect receives an email twice a month for the next 90 days explaining the benefits of your product and inviting them to buy.

After you send them one of your “juicy” offers that they couldn’t refuse, they eventually buy. They are then automatically removed from your prospect list and added to your customer list.

Based on the specific product and services they purchased, they will receive a series of emails with complementary products every two weeks for the next 6 months. This will be the engine that drives your sales and keeps your customers coming back to your website again and again.

If you were able to play out a situation like this with an integrated system, that would be pretty impressive, don’t you think? The big Internet companies do this with expensive e-commerce platforms from vendors like IBM, Microsoft and Oracle. If your system does these tasks right away, you can spend more time on your business, your health, or your household!

What can you do to get a money magnet website?

Fortunately, there are methods you can use to automate your website just like the big boys do. The best and most cost-effective method is to sign up with one of the few application service providers available on the Internet that offer a shopping cart with a full suite of marketing tools. In general, the shopping cart and tools are very versatile and can be integrated into any website.

Are there other ways to automate your service besides working with a total option company?

You can achieve some level of automation without an integrated shopping cart system, but that requires manual intervention and would obviously be incomplete. In my opinion, the most important asset of your e-commerce organization is your email list. Therefore, focus on implementing a great autoresponder/list server system to “boost” your current ecommerce site. There are numerous good systems on the
market.

Look for service providers that allow you to: create multiple lists, engage prospects via a web form, email or manually via a management console, send an infinite variety of autoresponder messages, send an unlimited number of email broadcasts, set up and distribute a newsletter.

When you set up your autoresponder system, you create one list for your “prospects” and another for your “customers.” This is where you come in: When a person orders your product, you must also log into your autoresponder system and manually remove them from the prospect list and add them to the customer list. This action will then trigger the sending of your autoresponder message series.

Remember, the secret to building a successful ecommerce website is to automate your marketing machine as much as possible and drive your prospects and customers back to your website. This way, your e-commerce website will definitely become a money magnet for you!
